The Face (Hebron 2005)

“The ideals which have lighted my way and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. The trite subjects of human efforts, possessions, outward success, and luxury have always seemed to me contemptible.” (Albert Einstein)

“We all carry around so much pain in our hearts. Love and pain and beauty. They all seem to go together like one little tidy confusing package. It’s a messy business, life. It’s hard to figure and it’s full of surprises. Some good. Some bad.” (Henry Bromel in Northern Exposure)
Beauty. What is it? Is beauty a reflection of the soul? What if one day you woke up to discover you had become ugly and deformed. Would you be different from who you are? We invite you to meet Jamal, a nice kid with a tragic story. What would you do if you were Jamal? And more important, what would you do if you were Jamal’s friends???
